Delete and Edit a Page Menu Link

You can edit or delete any of the page links that appear in the top navigation menu of your website. For example, you may want to adjust the link title for the page, or you may want to remove a temporary page from the website navigation. You can do this and more in the Govstack Back Office under the Global Node.

Edit a page link in the navigation menu

To edit a page link in the top navigation menu, you need to:

  1. Navigate to the Global Node in the left navigation tree
  2. Select 'Navigation' from the menu options
  3. Go to the 'Main' tab and find the page you want to edit
  4. Select the 'Edit' button next to the page name
  5. After making any edits to the page link or link title, click 'Submit'
  6. Select 'Save and publish' to finalize the changes

Delete a page link in the navigation menu

To remove a page link from the top navigation menu, you need to:

  1. Navigate to the Global Node in the left navigation tree
  2. Select 'Navigation' from the menu options
  3. Go to the 'Main' tab and find the page you want to delete
  4. Select the garbage bin icon next to the page name
  5. You will receive a prompt that says "Are you sure you want to delete this item"? Select 'Ok'
  6. Select 'Save and publish' to finalize the navigation menu changes
