Authors

Within the News functionality in the Govstack content management system (CMS), you are able to create authors, maintain author profiles and attribute news and blog posts to one or more authors.

Create an author

  3. Select 'Create News Author'
  4. Enter the name of the Author in the name field at the top of the page
  5. Under the 'Content' tab, enter your author's bio. This is a short snippet that will appear on every news post associated with the author
  6. Enter the image style you would like use for an image of the author. You can choose the original image style, a 1:1 square, a 1:1 circle, or various ratio-based sizes (width:height)
  7. Select the 'Box pad' toggle if you would like to add box padding around the image to fit your chosen style
  8. Enter your 'Author image' by selecting the '+' box and choosing an image from a 'Media' folder. You must have already uploaded the image. Search for the image name or select the name of the folder it is located in. Select the image, then click 'Select'

  10. If applicable, enter any social links and icon images for the author, such as their Twitter profile, YouTube profile, LinkedIn profile, or others
