Add a social share image

A social share image is the image that is used when someone shares one of your web pages on social media, such as, Twitter or Facebook. You need to upload an image to your Media library before you can add it as a social share image. To add a unique social share image to a web page, you need to:

  1. Select the 'Content' tab from the Govstack main menu
  2. In the left navigation tree, find the page you want to add a social image to
  3. Select the 'SEO & Share' tab, and scroll down to 'Social share image'
  4. Select '+' and find the image you want to use in your Media library
  5. Click 'Select', then click 'Save and publish'

Customize the Twitter creator username

You can customize the author name that will appear on a Twitter post when someone shares a web page from your website. To do this, you need to:

  1. Select the 'Content' tab from the Govstack main menu
  2. In the left navigation tree, find the page you want to add a custom Twitter creator for
  3. Select the 'SEO & Share' tab, and scroll down to 'Twitter creator username'
  4. In the textbox provided, add the page author username you would like to appear on Twitter share links
  5. Select 'Save and publish' to complete the process
