Label Options

Label options let you set the button labels, general labels (including error and file upload messages), and table labels for your form.

Locating label options

To locate label options in Govstack Forms, select the appropriate form then choose the “Options” tab from the toolbar located at the top of the page. Once on the “Options” page, select “Label Options” from the vertical menu located on the left side of the page.

Editing General Options

Enter your label alternatives as required then click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page to confirm your selections.

Available label options:

Button labels

Controls advancing between pages in the form.

Appears at the end of a form and completes the final submission process.

Returns user to the previous page.

Saves the form. This button is only available if the save option is enabled under general options.

Clears all responses on the current page. This button is only available if the clear option is enabled under general options.

General labels

Displayed in case of a general application error.

Appears at the top of the form if a user misses a required field or enters a response in an incorrect format.

Displayed if a user fails to add a file for uploading on a required question.

Appears after a file has been successfully uploaded.

Table labels

These labels allow you to replace the equivalent terms on the order summary page. Note that this does not change the labels in the receipt created by the ##ORDER## token.
