Treejack Testing

Developing an effective navigation hierarchy for your website is a challenge. Even when following sitemapping best practices, you can't be sure that your main menu categories and page names will make sense to your users. With a Treejack study, you can test your website navigation to be sure that your users will be able to find key services and information on your website.

How it works

We will upload your draft sitemap to the Treejack platform and our team will create a variety of tasks for participants to complete. For example, we might ask "Where would you look to register for swimming lessons?". The participant would then click through your website menus to identify the page where they could access that information. They will then mark a page as the destination.

Once the study is complete, we will analyze the data and meet with your team to present the findings. The data provides us with excellent insight into how users are thinking as they move through your sitemap completing a variety of top user tasks.

What you gain

After a Treejack test, you are now equipped with real life user data that you can show to various stakeholders in your organization to justify changes that will be made with your new website project. It can help you get buy-in both internally and externally.

We will also make edits to your sitemap based on the results of the Treejack study. For example, we may recommend changing the main menu names to help users find what they are looking for on your website. We also might recommend moving or renaming pages to help clarify the information that users will find.
