Footers

The 'Footer' section under the Global Node lets you customize the content and layout of the footers of every page on your website. You can add a variety of content components to the footer, each in their own column.

Add footer content

To add a content component to your universal page footer, you need to:

  1. Navigate to the Global Node in the left navigation tree
  2. Select 'Footer' from the menu options
  3. Select the 'Add content' button under the 'Footer items' area of the 'Content' tab
  4. This will open the 'Add content' slide-out panel
  5. From here, select the content component you would like to add to the footer
  6. Fill out the content component details

Components available in footers

You can add any of the following content components to the Global Node footer:

Edit footer column spacing

You can choose the column width for each component in the footer and add space between them with a spacer column.

To adjust the column width for the components in your footer for both desktop and tablet displays, you need to:

  1. Navigate to the Global Node in the left navigation tree
  2. Select 'Footer' from the menu options
  3. In the 'Footer items' area of the 'Content' tab, select the component you want to change the column width for
  4. This will open the component slide-out panel
  5. Select the 'Settings' tab
  6. Next to 'Desktop column width' and 'Tablet column width', drag the slider to set the column width ratio for the component
  7. Click 'Submit'

Adjust the component order

You can rearrange the components you've added to the footer by dragging and dropping them to the correct spot. The top-down component order will arrange from left to right in the footer.

Add a copyright message

You can add a copyright message which will appear under the content components in the footer. To add a copyright message, you need to:

  1. Navigate to the Global Node in the left navigation tree
  2. Select 'Footer' from the menu options
  3. Under the 'Copyright message' area of the 'Content' tab, add your copyright message in the textbox provided

Save and publish changes

Once you've added content and made adjustments to your global footer, make sure to save and publish the changes to complete the process.
