Approving Workflows

Once a workflow has been added to a content node in the Govstack CMS your team will need to request approval to publish their pages.

Approving workflows

To approve a workflow for a content node in your Govstack CMS, you need to:

  1. Select the target node in the content tree. You may also receive a notification email regarding the request which will contain a link directly to the target node.
  2. Select the 'Workflow' app. If you followed a link from a notification email the 'Workflow' app will open automatically.
  3. Review the comments in the 'Change description' and 'Workflow activity' fields. In the case of multi-level workflows, you may see information from previous approvers in the process.
  4. Enter any notes in the 'Add a comment' field
  5. Select 'Approve', 'Reject', or 'Cancel' as required

Some workflows may send an additional email indicating the status of the node.

If an approval group has multiple members, then only a single approval is required at each stage to move the approval process along.
