Approving Workflows
Once a workflow has been added to a content node in the Govstack CMS your team will need to request approval to publish their pages.
Approving workflows
To approve a workflow for a content node in your Govstack CMS, you need to:
- Select the target node in the content tree. You may also receive a notification email regarding the request which will contain a link directly to the target node.
- Select the 'Workflow' app. If you followed a link from a notification email the 'Workflow' app will open automatically.
- Review the comments in the 'Change description' and 'Workflow activity' fields. In the case of multi-level workflows, you may see information from previous approvers in the process.
- Enter any notes in the 'Add a comment' field
- Select 'Approve', 'Reject', or 'Cancel' as required
Some workflows may send an additional email indicating the status of the node.
If an approval group has multiple members, then only a single approval is required at each stage to move the approval process along.
